Abstract

This is a diachronic study of scientific terminology, which discusses changes in biological terminology after 20 years. Changes are viewed from the morphological and semantic aspects and the relationship between them. The research also determines the existence of specific patterns of linguistic change and whether they have differences in the variety of language form used in the two different time periods. A text analysis approach is used and the study is limited to written material as it is well documented and easier to obtain. Data was collected from, b:tilah Kajihayat, Perhul
