Abstract

The rights of the People of Qiblah, who are the nation of Islam, are stipulated firmly in our Islamic Law (Sharia) through its texts and rules, which once applied, Muslims had pride and dignity. It is noicable in our nation’s presence that there is an evident defect in abiding by these rights, so the importance of this thesis comes to benefit me and our Muslim nation so that security, sublimity and empowerment prevail. The aims of this research are to introduce these rights: designating them as followers of Islam, supporting and allying, and unifying with them, to know to what extent they can be implemented in our reality, and to recognize the reasons of imperfection and how to rectify them. I conducted the methodology of analytical induction where I collected and analyzed the texts, and set out the requirements of the People of Qiblah’s rights, and found out the reasons for the shortcomings in performing them, and demonstrated the ways of treatment. In my research, I reached at the conclusion that it is obligatory to give the rights of the People of Qiblah to every person his Islam is approved for. Also, the basis of those rights is to admit the name of Islam for Muslims, and their requirements such as sanctity of Muslim’s blood and property, and abstaining from calling him a disbeliever, and being aggressive and repressive to him. The right of loyalty to them entails the meaning of Love, harmony, victory and honor, and that the right of the unification between the people of Qiblah is the highest one for realizing pride of the Muslims and to demonstrate the aspects of strength and creativity to lead mankind. And that the imbalance in the deficiencies in the commitment of these rights is created by ignorance of Sharia, the weakness in the faith, the existence of misconceptions in the understanding of our religion and our reality, and the intervention of foreign forces among us. Getting rid of that deficiency is impossible except by knowing the reasons, and seeking to address to solve it with all our strength and ability.
