Abstract
This study is to discuss one of the most important aspects in Sahih al-Bukhari, tarjamah al-bab or giving name of the chapter with focus of the manuscript Sharh Tarjamah al- Bab by Mawlana Tok Kurasan. Its main purpose is to highlight the general role and contribution of local scholar directly study of hadith and the public will realize the existence of this manuscript further assess suitability to serve as a source of reference. Information and results obtained with the findings of this study apply the research library and field research. Study of the manuscript was done in two forms, namely analysis methods and comparative studies. Retrieval results obtained from analysis methods find that the methodology applied in it is not displaying a distinctive variant of commonly in other works in the history of these aspects but the solution has a special feature that will not be found in the other works otherwise. While the results of comparative studies find that writing is not owned by the original property Mawlana Tok Kurasan except what has been translated from the works of his teacher especially the Shaykh al-Hind Mawlana Mahmud Hasan Sahib al-Deobandi, but it has been complemented by Mawlana Tok Kurasan with explanation additional notes placed at the feet.
