Abstract

This research is conducted to explore the determinants of accuracy in decision making and usage of Decision Making Tools (DMT) among managers in Malaysia. Based on the literature review, DMT have been effectively used in forecasting, analysing and evaluating business risks. 193 sets of questionnaire were distributed to prove the objectives and the hypotheses of this study. Results revealed that information accessibility influences accuracy in decision making. While, time pressure, behaviour of decision makers and DMT have weak relationship in influencing the accuracy in decision making. Lastly, recommendations on the usage of DMT have also been discussed in this research.
