Abstract
ASYRAF RIDWAN HJ. ALI; Comparison Of Counseling Management Concept: A Research On It ·s Practice In Some Of The Educational Institution Around Kuala 'Terengganu. Mini-Disertasi ; Department of Islamic Theology, Academy of Islamic Studies, University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur. This Islam an Author research of A Thinking In An Islamic Management System specialized in Counseling. It include a comparison between a concept that being propose by the western intelligentsia and a concept according to the Islamic perception whether in theory, practical, vision, etc., which being use in a daily management of counseling. Most of counseling institution in Malaysia use that counseling management concept as have been encouraged by Islam although the counselor had an exposure from western intelligentsia. This Islam because of the Islamic education that has being teach to these counselor from their early age. Nevertheless, the real explanation of these two dimension has to be done so that it will satisfying all the need of the world today. A comparison of it's management in some of the educational institution such as in college, teaching college, secondary school, including the Sekolah Menengah Agama, also has to be considered so that need of the counseling institution's improvement nowadays can be identified. The arising of the counseling that base on the Islamic perception has at least giving the civilian to come up with a lot of question in their mind especially among the psychologist and counselor. A question such as, Islam the western's concept in counseling that still being practice in most of the counseling institution applicable ? Does it wrong from Islamic perspective ? Can it be appropriate according to the Islamic perspective. And how it can be done ? With the findings of this research, it Islam hope to answer the questions posed above.
