Abstract
In our education system, guidance and counseling is important for students to acquire information to make decisions and adjustments in their life. Guidance and counseling can also help students expand their potentials. With that, the purpose of this study is teachers' assessment towards the implementation of the guidance and counseling services in a secondary school in Petaling Jaya. This study involved 114 teachers. The data was analyse using percentage. This was to assess teachers' opinion towards the implementation of three major areas of guidance and counseling which are vocational, academic and personal. T test and ANOVA were used to analyse teachers' assessment according to sex, race, academic background and experience. Generally, this research shows that majority of teachers felt that the guidance and counseling service has definitely helped the students. There were no significant differences in teachers assessment according to sex, race, working experience and academic background.
