Abstract
Describes the effort to establish a government publications collection at the University of Malaya Library. In August 1985 the University allocated a sum of RM15,000 to the library to initiate this project. Three staff were recruited to search within the library all government publications as well to solicit currently published official publications from ministries and government departments.The collection grew to over 10,000 volumes.
