Abstract
Although vestibular disorders are considered a common presentation in an adult outpatient clinic, a child with vestibular complaints stirs uneasiness among physicians. Vestibular disorders among pediatric patients have gained attention over the past decade owing to the emerging number of cases. Yet, a lack of expertise in managing pediatric vestibular conditions results in a delay in diagnosis, causing anxiety among the child and the parent. We report a 14-year-old female who presented to our Pediatric Vestibular and Balance clinic with unsteadiness, dizziness, and headache. Further examination led to the diagnosis of abdominal migraine. This case highlights the management of this child and discusses common etiologies of vestibular dysfunction in children.
