Abstract
This high precision study has confirmed the previous structure [Golubev & Kondrashev (1984). Zh. Strukt. Khim. 25, 145-149] of the title compound, C9H7NO, and the H atoms have been located. In the crystal structure, mol-ecules are linked by an N - H⋯O hydrogen bond [N⋯O = 2.826 (2) Å] into a helical chain running along the polar c axis of the ortho-rhom-bic unit cell. © 2007 International Union of Crystallography.
