Abstract

Ammonium hexamolybdobismuthate(III) of composition (NH(4))(3)[BiMo(6)O(18)(OH)(6)] center dot 7H(2)O (I) was synthesized and studied by mass spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, IR spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry. The compound is monoclinic: a = 10.438 , b = 7.909 , c = 18.127 , beta = 96.59A degrees, V = 1486.76 (3), rho(calc) = 3.32 g/cm(3), Z = 2.
