Abstract
A simple interaction parameter (IPEI) for adsorption of metal ions on polyethyleneimine (PEI)-impregnated activated carbon (AC) has been determined and compared. It is used to elucidate and compare the degree of interaction between metal and surface of PEI-impregnated AC.
