Abstract

In the title compound, C(7)H(6)N(2)O(3), the planes containing the CNO and ONO atoms subtend dihedral angles of 5.47 (5) and 8.31 (5)degrees, respectively, with the benzene ring. In the crystal structure, intermolecular O-H center dot center dot center dot N hydrogen bonds link the molecules into centrosymmetric dimers with an R(2)(2)(6) graph-set motif.
