Abstract

Information Technology (IT) is a terminology that shows an existing of a kind of technology that relates knowledge manipulation. It supports input operation, data processing, output, storage and transmitting of knowledge. The existing of internet, wireless information communication networking (wireless), online services and other software become as an indicator of its functions and features. Since all of these functions and features, it becomes the most excellent technologies in today information era. Besides of its effort of functions, this technology has no sieve distance of the truth of knowledge. Any of data and knowledge which is suit to the protocol of this technology is accepted. While, ilmu hadith is a discipline of knowledge that is originated of truth and authentic knowledge. That contras generate implication. This study investigate how information technology with its function and features gives impact to ilmu hadith and its development as an epistemology founded of truth and authentic knowledge.
