Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyse the use of Computer in the teaching and learning process of History to students of Form One in some Secondary schools in the Klang Valley. The sample population of this study includes 60 students and 5 teachers from three schools that are Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Vivekananda, Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan San Peng and Sekolah Menengah Victoria. This study was carried out using the 'survey' technique. Data obtained from this study were analysed using the SPS version 9. 0 program. The statistical analyses used are frequencies and percentages. Chi - squared test was used to determine significant relationships among the variables. The significant value used was p < 0.05. This study showed that there was a relationship between the use of computer in the teaching and learning process of History among Form One students but it was not significant. This could be due to the fact that the sample used for this study is small and also this study was conducted only with the best students of each school chosen.
