Abstract

After the independence, Islam has been upholds BS the highest constituirion in order to develop the country. Yet, as a nation she still has to face the secularism challenges in political, economy end cultural. However, after 30 years in secularism Zial ul Haq has brought the new Islamization in the country. He brought the new hope of Islamization end tried to curb the western elements from the way of life of Pakistani. Hence~ he has established a country with Islam as way of life. Islam has been imposed in the laws and orders, economy, politics, education and social. In fact, the country has devoloped an Islamic aspiration based on the Quran and the Sunnah. However, the agenda that has been apply by Zia ul Haq are hardly accepted by the people who use to be materialistic society brought by the secularism. Zia ul Haq tried to apply the value of Islam BS a way of life. However, all his plans has been protested and has brought to the crisis end unstable political situation. There were a disagreement in opinions by the different sects in the country. The death of Zia ul Haq has brought with tho death of Islamic aspiration. Today, Islam is only a symbol of the nation end has not been imposed as a way of life anymore. In this situation. Islam was seen as a foundation for Pakistan but not BS a society that Islamic literate Pakistani should be more aware for what they fought for. Their achievement in building a Islamic country is nothing if they cannot upholds their roots.
