Abstract

The objectives of this research on the " Hidden meaning of the sentences in the form of  question " are to identify and to analyze the meaning in the usage of" sentences in the  form of question ". Fallowing it, the result of the research is written in a  comprehensible way and can provide satisfaction to the readers.  Generally, in the usage of language there are questions that do not require answers from  the listeners. The speakers intelligently conveys his or her message indirectly through  the questions. The listener will understand the meaning of the sentence in the form of  question through his own interpretation.  Specifically, this research focused on the explanation of questions in the verse of alNaml.  Sentences in the form of question are explained and analyzed from the aspect of meaning which taken the account of the context of the sentence together with the artistic nature of forming the sentence. Effectiveness of the language and the enjoyment of the artistic nature of the sentence  depend on the capability of the speaker in conveying the meaning in an interesting arrangements of the sentence and ability of the listener to comprehend to wish of the speaker.  In this research also, the meaning of the sentences in the form of question are clarify  linguistically and specifically hoping that the readers can comprehend the patten and  form the language in more closer way.  Even though, this research was done on the Arabic .language but there are many similarities which are applicable to Bahasa Melayu. Research on the sentences in the form of question, leading its usage in the al-Quran,  offers good input as well as meaningful towards the development of the language therefore provide satisfaction to the researcher, equally with the beauty and supreme of the al-Quran which is unable to be written by mankind.
